RALEIGH - The North Carolina Education Lottery (NCEL) is proud to introduce the new “Deal or No Deal” instant scratch-off game. Players in North Carolina now have a chance to see if one of those briefcases like those seen on the hit show “Deal or No Deal” with Howie Mandel will be lucky for them. This game along with three other new games— Mega Bucks, Rake It In and Lucky 7’s are in stores starting today, Sept. 3.


The $5 “Deal or No Deal” instant game features many of the same elements present in the popular game show including an engaging play style and lots of cash prizes up to and including six instant top prizes of $100,000. The ticket also features a sweepstakes tie-in that allows eligible players to enter their non-winning tickets into a drawing for a chance to win one of five grand prize trip packages to Hollywood. Trip winners will not only have a chance to win cash prizes, but also an opportunity to appear on the “Deal or No Deal” show with Howie Mandel! Entries not selected for the grand prize trip packages will be entered into a drawing to select five finalists for a national drawing for a chance to win between $250,000 and $2.5 million.>>>>>>



“Mega Bucks” is a $5 ticket with over $17.8 million in total prizes, which includes eight top prizes of $100,000. The “match and win” style game also has over 25,000 prizes between $75 and $500. If players scratch and reveal a “MEGA” symbol they win five times the prize shown.


“Rake It In” is a $2 ticket that is sure to get players in the fall spirit with the colorful leaves and eight top prizes of $15,000. There are over 14,000 prizes between $50 and $500. Plus, players that scratch and reveal a “rake” symbol win $25 automatically.


“Lucky 7’s” is a $1 ticket with 200 top prizes of $700! The game also has 1,600 prizes of $100 along with tens of thousands of prizes between $10 and $40.
