		RALEIGH - The North Carolina Education Lottery’s (NCEL’s) 2008-2009 beneficiary brochure is now available online by Clicking Here. The brochure includes distribution of FY09 funds by county to the four beneficiary programs as prescribed by the Lottery Act: the More at Four program, class-size reduction, school construction, and need-based college scholarships. The NCEL completed its third full year of operations on June 30, 2009, with sales of $1.2 billion and transfers of more than $410 million to the State Education Fund, which exceeded the legislative budget expectations for the year. Transfers from launch through June 30, 2009, totaled more than $1.136 billion. The NCEL’s beneficiary brochure is published annually. Printed copies will be available in one week.
