A tip for those playing the lottery that are frustrated with it and complain about which counties win more money over others. It's a game of luck..there is no skill involved...there are winners and losers everywhere..there's no lucky fairy out there trying to make the winnings even for everyone..we aren't playing a children's game..where everyone wins...stop whinning and spend your money on something that will make you happy. Life's too short.

How is it determined what city/town the scratch off cards are distributed to? Secondly, please clarify...I enter all my tickets/scratch offs after checking win numbers...is this the same as entering Lucky Rewards entering on line? Please advise..thank you!NC Lottery
Hi Terilyn, Scratch offs are distributed as they are ordered. Here is an article about how lottery tickets are distributed:https://www.newsobserver.com/news/local/article215574905.html As for your second question all you need to do is open the NC Lottery app or visit our website and sign into your account. From there, click the “Collect” button and then click “Scan Now” or enter the number manually. Your points will be automatically added to your balance. Then choose which Lucke-Rewards drawing you wish to enter. To enter all you need to do is click the “Enter” icon. On that page, you will see current drawings and can simply click the blue “Enter” button for the drawings you are interested in.

Is there any limit to the amount of points you can accumulate on your account? I don't mean the 75 per day, I mean the total unused points. I assume there's not but just wondering. NC Lottery
Hey Tim, You're correct, at this time there is no limit on the total points you can accumulate.

@MARK M: We hear you're frustrated, Mark, but advertising is an important part of the lottery. Just like brands need to advertise their products or services, the lottery advertises in order to support ticket sales which in turn helps raise money for education. We’re happy to share that less than one percent of lottery revenue is spent on advertising each year. Additionally, we wanted to let you know that the lottery does not keep any profits--100% go to education in North Carolina.

I spent $40 on the newest scratch offs today, did not win anything?? luck of the draw!!! I spent $60 yesterday on the latest scatch offs won $10, I spent $20 on Keno twice, did not win a dime, ok luck of the draw, everytime I turn on the TV NC Lottery is advertising, that is costing you Millions of dollars you could have been paying out to your supporters, do yo really think we are not watching!!!! Your executives are the only poeple profiting from the NC lottery, it is criminal and you will eventually will pay, YOU ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE AMERICAN PUBLIC NC Lottery

Greg S. I agree with you on the 10x,I’ve seen it once in 3 years(?) it’s been Available? I assume it’s like the other balls drawings. There are 1s and 2s and 3s 4s 5s Balls, No doubt the 1s and 2s are predominate with (I’m guessing) only ONE 10x ball. Love to know the answer. NC Lottery

UPDATE: Hi Barry, The 10X multiplier is available when the jackpot is between $40-$150 million. Since the feature was added in 2015, the 10X has been drawn six times. When the 10X is in play, the odds of it being drawn are one in 43.

On the draw of 4-17 the winner has not come forward , I think it's time to pick someone who wants the money ! ! You guys need to be checking the list of past draws better I know they get a certain amount of time but it's up on a lot of these people . Check the list.NC Lottery
Hey there Stephen, Thanks for pointing that out. All Lucke-Rewards winners have 30 days to claim their prizes. The lottery sends an email, makes a phone call and leaves a message, and mails a certified letter using the information in winners' Lucke-Rewards accounts. After 30 days, the prizes goes to an alternate and the process starts over with the next winner. We hope to have a winner posted soon.

with pb jackpot 53 mil it is time for multiplier 10 to come out so we have some good winners. can not remember if x10 has come out since implementing

I have played online and have submitted 2nd chance tickets as well as enter into the other games and have never won anything except $3.00 or $6.00. It just seems like certain counties in NC continues to win more than others. So I agree with you Sierra. for many years and agree with you Sierra.
