Cabarrus County man wins ‘extreme’ $100,000 lottery prize

Randy Tucker of Kannapolis tried his luck on two $25 Extreme Cash tickets and one of them scored him a $100,000 prize.

Tucker purchased his lucky ticket from Steve’s Corner Store on N.C. 152 West in China Grove.

“On Saturday I left my job and stopped in there and got two tickets,” he recalled. “And one of them was no good and the other one was real good.”

He claimed his prize Monday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required federal and state tax withholdings, he took home $70,757.

“I don’t think it’ll change me none,” said Tucker. “I’m gonna put it in the bank and then if I need it for a rainy day I have it.”

I bought 10 of these in a row in concord. The guy behind me bought the next one and hit $10,000. Talk about a sad day. I still did ok though. Hit the coins for $200 and a roll of cash for $59 on 1 and won $300 from the others. NC Lottery

I really enjoyed playing the beach game, I dont remember the name of it but I really enjoyed it. Please bring it back you could do a fall,Halloween, Thanksgiving or even Christmas motifs. I never really won a lot but I did play almost everyday.NC Lottery
