Hurry to claim prizes on 10 scratch-offs

Time is almost up on 10 scratch-off games. After Thursday, Dec. 2, you won’t be able to claim any prizes for the following games:

$20 tickets: $5,000,000 FORTUNE, $4,000,000 Gold Rush
$10 ticket: 50X The Cash (#714)
$5 tickets: 20X The Cash (#713), $250,000 Gold Rush, $500 Stacked, Extreme Cashword
$3 ticket: 15X Cashword
$1 tickets: Blackjack, HIT $50!

Reminder: All prizes must be claimed by no later than 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2. Claims between $600 and $99,999 must be made at one of the six regional claim centers before 5 p.m. that day. Claims of $100,000 or more must be made at lottery headquarters in Raleigh before 5 p.m. on that day as well.

Hi Karen! If you win a Second Chance drawing, you will receive an email notification and if the win is for less than $600, the funds will automatically be deposited into your online account! If the win is for more than $600, the email will also contain instructions on how to claim your prize. Hope this helps!

I don't really understand how 2nd chance works. I thought once I entered the ticket number I could throw the tickets away. What if I registered the ticket and it won and I don't have the ticket. This is so confusing. Would they already have my name down as the winner?NC Lottery
Great question, Sharon! After the ticket information is successfully submitted as an entry, the original ticket is not needed to claim a prize - our security team will associate your entry with your account and contact you if you are a winner!

Hi Cynthia, if you play Second Chance, Lucke-Rewards, or draw games through Online Play then you should receive an email notification if you win. For scratch-offs we don't know who the winners are until they come to claim their prize. Good luck!
