Wow! Someone walked into a Wake County grocery store Tuesday afternoon, bought a $10 Big Bucks Bingo Fast Play ticket, and won $162,826.

The win occurred just before 2 p.m. at the Publix on Kelly Road in Apex. The odds of winning a Fast Play jackpot are 1 in 360,000.

A $10 Fast Play ticket like Big Bucks Bingo gets to take home the entire Fast Play jackpot.

The winner has 180 days to collect the prize at lottery headquarters in Raleigh.

The rolling, progressive Fast Play jackpot increases with every ticket sold until it is won. After Tuesday’s win, the jackpot started over at $20,000.

We look forward to meeting the big winner and handing out a Fast Play Big Check.
