RALEIGH – A new lottery game launching Tuesday offers players a chance to win a trip to Hollywood to play Wheel of Fortune with Pat Sajak and Vanna White for up to $1 million.
Wheel of Fortune is a $5 ticket based on the game show of the same name. Along with five $100,000 top prizes, the game features three second-chance drawings that will send three players to Hollywood for the chance to play in a non-broadcast Wheel of Fortune game with winners from North Carolina and other participating states. If selected, players have the chance to play to win up to $1 million.
Winners will receive roundtrip airfare for themselves and up to three guests to Los Angeles, five days/four nights deluxe hotel accommodation and $1,000 spending money. Each winner gets one spin on the Wheel of Fortune to win a guaranteed cash prize from $300 up to $10,000.
All qualifying non-winning entries will be combined into a fourth and final drawing where one player will have the chance to win up to $1 million in cash.
Two additional games also launch Tuesday: 5X the Money and Lucky Stars.
5X the Money is a $2 ticket featuring six $25,000 top prizes and 70,000 prizes from $20 to $200. The game is played by matching one of 10 numbers with one of two winning numbers. Players who reveal a “MONEYBAG” symbol in the play area win the prize shown instantly. Those who reveal a “5X” symbol win five times the prize amount shown. More than $5.2 million in prizes can be won in the game.
Lucky Stars is a $1 game with 12 top prizes of $5,000. Players who match any of five numbers to their winning number win the prize shown. Revealing a “MOON” symbol doubles the prize shown instantly. More than $3.4 million in total prizes can be won in the game and more than 1.2 million tickets are winners.
