RALEIGH – The N.C. Education Lottery reminds its players that the deadline to claim prizes for 14 instant scratch-off games is Thursday, May 30, 2013. In February, the NCEL officially announced the end of the 14 games. Under NCEL policy, all instant game prizes must be claimed within ninety (90) days of the announced end-of-game date.

The games are Silver 7's, Double Platinum 5's, The Money Game, Red Hot Millions, Royal Riches, Wicked 1's, Extreme Green, Triple Payout, Bass Pro Shops $25,000 Cash Adventure, $5,000 Taxes Paid, $30,000 Taxes Paid, Match & Win, Carolina Black and Merry Money.

Claims under $600 can be made at a lottery retailer before midnight on May 30. Claims of $600 to $99,999 must be made at one of the six regional claims centers before 5 p.m. on May 30, while claims of $100,000 and above must be made at NCEL headquarters in Raleigh before 5 p.m. on that day. Claims that are mailed to the NCEL must be received within 90 days of the official end-of-game date. Postmarks will not satisfy the 90-day requirement.
