RALEIGH – A new suite of multiplier-themed games launching Tuesday includes a game that gives players the chance to win a $1 million prize.

50X The Cash is a $10 game featuring five top prizes of $1 million and more than $46 million in total prizes. To win a prize, players match any of 15 numbers to one of six winning numbers. Players who reveal a “50X” symbol win 50 times the prize shown instantly. Approximate overall odds of winning including breakeven prizes are 1 in 3.45.

The new $5 game, 20X The Cash, begins with six top prizes of $200,000 and more than $23.7 million in total prizes. Players who reveal a “Double Moneybag” symbol win double the prize shown. Players can also multiply their prizes by revealing a “5X” or “20X” symbol. Approximate overall odds of winning including breakeven prizes are 1 in 4.09.

10X The Cash is a $2 game that launches with six $50,000 top prizes and more than $8.8 million in total prizes. Players can multiply their winnings by revealing a “2X” or a “10X” symbol. Approximate overall odds of winning including breakeven prizes are 1 in 4.79.

Rounding out the game launch is the $1 game, 5X The Cash, which begins with 10 top prizes of $10,000 and more than $4.5 million in total prizes. Revealing a “5X” symbol wins five times the prize amount shown. Approximate overall odds of winning including breakeven prizes are 1 in 4.88.

August 6 begins the lottery’s new launch strategy “Ticket Tuesday”. In an effort to create consistency for players and retailers, new instant scratch-off games will show up in stores on the first Tuesday of every month.
