RALEIGH – Maudisteen Harvey of Winston-Salem is the latest player to claim a $100,000 prize in the lottery’s $1 Million MONOPOLY game.

As of Monday afternoon, three $1 million prizes and two $100,000 prizes remain to be claimed in the $10 game. She purchased the lucky ticket at the Wilco on University Parkway in Winston-Salem.

After state and federal taxes were withheld, Harvey received $69,203.

As of September 2013, the lottery has raised more than $3 billion to support education programs. Lottery dollars support teachers’ salaries in grades K-3, school construction and repair projects, prekindergarten programs for at-risk four-year-olds, need-based college scholarships and financial aid and digital learning initiatives.
