RALEIGH – A new $20 instant scratch-off game, $200 Million Blowout, gives North Carolinians 16 chances to win $1 million and four chances to win $4 million instantly.

The game features more than $200 million in overall prizes. Players can win more than 850,000 prizes from $50 to $5,000.

“Players tell us they like the big prizes and better overall odds that $20 tickets bring,” said Alice Garland, the lottery’s executive director. “We look forward to meeting the first new millionaire that this new game creates.”

Approximate overall odds of winning the game's top prize are 1 in 3,270,000. Approximate overall odds of winning a breakeven prize or better are 1 in 3.01.

Two additional games will start to show up in stores this Tuesday:

• “$” is a $5 game that features four $200,000 top prizes and more than 257,000 prizes from $20 to $100. Approximate overall odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 1,200,000. Approximate overall odds of winning a breakeven prize or better are 1 in 3.94.

• Aces & 8’s is a $2 game that offers more than 1 million winning tickets and six top prizes of $30,000. Approximate overall odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 840,000. Approximate overall odds of winning a breakeven prize or better are 1 in 4.62.
