RALEIGH – A new Caesars®-themed lottery game starting Tuesday gives players 20 chances to win a luxury trip to Las Vegas. The game, called Caesars®, begins with four top prizes of $150,000 and more than $11.5 million in prizes.

The Las Vegas trip includes airfare for two and four night’s accommodations at Caesars Palace, transportation to and from the airport and $1,250 in spending money. Ten trips will be won instantly and 10 will be won through a second-chance drawing.

On each $5 ticket, players can play four different casino-themed games. The chances of winning one of the $150,000 top prizes are 1 in 840,000 and the odds of instantly winning a Las Vegas trip are 1 in 336,000. Overall odds of winning a breakeven prize or better are 1 in 4.10.

“We love to offer games that include multiple ways to win big,” said Alice Garland, the lottery’s executive director. “This exciting new game not only gives our players the opportunity to win $150,000 cash prizes, but 20 luxury experiences at one of the most renowned hotels in Las Vegas.”

Three other instant games also are heading to stores on Tuesday, including the new $10 game Millionaire 7’s, which begins with 10 top prizes of $1 million and more than $70 million in total prizes. Overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.50 and the odds of winning a top prize are 1 in 960,000.

Scoop The Cash, a $2 game, begins with more than $4.9 million in total prizes and five top prizes of $25,000. Odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 768,000. Approximate overall odds of winning including break-even prizes are 1 in 4.56.

Double Doubler is a $1 game that starts with 10 top prizes of $4,000. The game starts with more than $3.8 million in total prizes. Odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 648,000. Approximate overall odds of winning including break-even prizes are 1 in 4.78.

New scratch-off games begin on the first Tuesday of every month. Ticket sales for instant games have helped the lottery to raise more than $3.19 billion for education programs statewide.
