RALEIGH – Kevin Humphrey of Greenville is the latest player to win $750,000 playing the Jumbo Bucks game. He purchased the ticket on Friday at the lottery’s regional office and claim center on Dickinson Avenue in Greenville.

After state and federal taxes were withheld, Humphrey received a check for $519,003.

As of Monday morning, five more $750,000 top prizes remain to be claimed in the $10 Jumbo Bucks game.

Ticket sales have made it possible for the lottery to raise more than $3.4 billion for the state. Net proceeds are used for prekindergarten programs for at-risk four-year-olds, teachers’ salaries in grades K-3, school construction, digital learning initiatives, need-based college scholarships and financial aid.
