RALEIGH – After Powerball and Carolina Cash 5 jackpot winners last month, Brunswick County’s winning streak has spilled over into the month of March.

A lucky ticket for last night’s All or Nothing drawing matched all 12 numbers drawn, winning the top prize of $250,000. It was sold at the Lowe’s Foods on Beach Drive in Ocean Isle Beach.

The winning numbers were: 3-4-8-11-12-17-18-20-21-22-23-24. The winner has 180 days to claim the prize.

All or Nothing is a unique number matching game where players choose 12 from among 24 numbers. Players can win the top prize of $250,000 by matching all or none of the numbers drawn. Tickets cost $2 each with daily drawings at approximately 12:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

In February, a mother of four from Shallotte became the largest Powerball jackpot winner in North Carolina history when her ticket won a $188 million annuity share of the Feb. 11 jackpot. Ronald Pezzote, a self-employed resident of Winnabow, had one of three Carolina Cash 5 tickets that split the jackpot in the Feb. 18 drawing, winning him $52,524.

Ticket sales made it possible for the lottery to raise more than half a billion for the state last year. For details on how $28 million in lottery funds have made a difference for specific education programs in Brunswick County, click on the “Where the Money Goes” tab on the lottery’s website.
