RALEIGH – Oges Lemond of Windsor is the latest player to win $100,000 playing the $120 Million Cash instant scratch-off game. She purchased the lucky $20 ticket at Kangaroo Express on South Wesleyan Boulevard in Rocky Mount.

After state and federal taxes were withheld, Lemond received a check for $69,256.

The $120 Million Cash game went on sale on Oct. 1, 2013. As of Friday afternoon, one $3 million top prize, one $1 million prize and one $100,000 prize remains to be claimed in the game.

Ticket sales have made it possible for the lottery to raise more than $3.6 billion for the state. Net proceeds will be used this year to help pay salaries of teachers and teacher assistants, for pre-kindergarten programs for at-risk four-year-olds, for school construction and repair, and need-based college scholarships and financial aid.
