RALEIGH – Rosa Guerrero of Durham is the first player to win the top prize of $100,000 playing the Bonus Corners Crossword instant game.
She purchased her lucky ticket, which beat odds of 1 in 1 million, at the Rose Mart on Wake Forest Highway in Durham.
After required state and federal withholdings, Guerrero received a check for $69,251.
With Guerrero’s win, two top prizes of $100,000 remain to be claimed in the game.
