RALEIGH – Tyrone Robinson of Ellerbe is the second player to win $150,000 on an Emerald 7’s scratch-off ticket. He purchased his winning ticket, worth $103,877 after taxes, at the O’Tuel’s Food & Fuel on South Long Drive in Rockingham.

Robinson joins Ronald Monroe, a community advocate from Fayetteville, as the game’s top prize winners. Two more top prizes of $150,000 remain to be claimed.

Ticket sales made it possible for the lottery to raise more than half a billion dollars for the state last year. For details on how $19 million in lottery funds have made a difference in Richmond County, click on the “Where the Money Goes” tab on the lottery’s website.
