Dennis Williams of Lincolnton took home the $168,296 Cash 5 jackpot from the Nov. 16 drawing.

He claimed his prize last week at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required state and federal tax withholdings Williams took home $116,545.

Williams purchased the winning ticket at the Times Turn Around on Aspen Street in Lincolnton.

Ticket sales from games like Cash 5 made it possible for the lottery to raise more than half a billion dollars for the state last year.
