A “Mega” win for Anna Taylor of Sophia came as she won $100,000 playing Mega Bucks.

Taylor claimed the top prize Tuesday morning at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required state and federal withholdings she took home $69,251.

She bought the $5 ticket at Anjaneya LLC on South Main Street in Randleman.

Ticket sales from games like Mega Bucks made it possible for the lottery to raise more than half a billion dollars for the state last year.
