Jesus Gonzalez from Battleboro won the last $100,000 top prize in Merry Mega Bucks.
Gonzalez claimed the prize Monday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required state and federal withholdings he took home $69,251.
Gonzalez bought the winning ticket at the L&L Food Stores on Hathaway Street in Battleboro.
Merry Mega Bucks launched in November with three top prizes of $100,000. Since all top prizes in the game have been won, the lottery has started the steps to end the game.
Ticket sales from games like Merry Mega Bucks made it possible for the lottery to raise more than half a billion dollars for the state last year.
