Moises Ventura from Garner is the latest player to win a $300,000 prize playing the new $300,000 Jackpot scratch-off game.
Ventura claimed his prize Tuesday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required state and federal tax withholdings, he received $207,751.
He bought the winning $5 ticket at Webb’s Minit Mart on Poole Road in Garner.
$300,000 Jackpot launched in January with four top prizes of $300,000. Two top prizes remain.
Ticket sales from games like $300,000 Jackpot made it possible for the lottery to raise more than half a billion dollars for the state last year.
