RALEIGH – Rannie Brooks of Bessemer City became the latest person to claim one of the $100,000 prizes in the Millionaire Bucks game.

Brooks bought his lucky ticket at The I Market on West Trade Street in Dallas. After the required federal and state tax withholdings, he received $69,256.

The game still has six more $100,000 prizes to be claimed as well as four $1 million prizes and three $4 million top prizes.

Ticket sales from games like Millionaire Bucks made it possible for the lottery to raise more than half a billion dollars for the state last year.
