Time is running out for one lucky Cash 5 player to claim a $164,825 jackpot. The ticket, sold for the Aug. 27., drawing expires on Feb. 23.

The winning ticket was sold at the Brotherhood Market on South Pollock Street in Selma.

“We’re asking Cash 5 players in Johnston County to double check their tickets,” Alice Garland, executive director of the N.C. Education Lottery said. “It takes a lot of luck to win, and we hate to see any prize go unclaimed.”

Players should see if they have the following winning numbers drawn in the Aug. 27. drawing:

5-7-8-21-26

To claim the prize, the ticket must be brought to lottery headquarters in Raleigh by 5 p.m. on Feb. 23. The deadline is the end of the 180-day period winners have to claim their prize.
