Ailla Prince of Fayetteville is the latest player to win the top Gold 7’s prize of $200,000.

She claimed her prize Monday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After federal and state tax withholdings, she took home $138,501.

Prince bought the $5 ticket at the Boulevard Amoco on Bragg Boulevard in Fayetteville.

Gold 7’s launched in October 2015 with four top prizes of $200,000. Two top prizes remain.

Ticket sales from games like Gold 7’s made it possible for the lottery to raise more than half a billion dollars for the state last year. For details on how over $155 million in lottery funds has made a difference in Cumberland County, click on the “For Education” section of the lottery’s website.
