Eric Wade of Roxboro became the third North Carolinian to win a $200,000 prize in the new Carolina Black game.

Wade bought his lucky ticket at Cruizers on North Church Street in Burlington. After the required federal and state tax withholdings, he received $138,501 as he claimed his prize Wednesday.

The $5 game started in May. Two top prizes of $200,000 remain to be claimed.

Ticket sales from games like Carolina Black made it possible for the lottery to raise more than half a billion dollars for the state last year.
