Janice Mercer of Pinetops is the latest player to win $200,000 playing 20X The Cash.

Mercer bought the $5 scratch-off ticket at the Exxon Pricedown Food Mart on North Wesleyan Boulevard in Rocky Mount.

She claimed her prize Monday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After federal and state tax withholdings, she received $138,501.

20X The Cash launched in February with nine top prizes of $200,000. Five top prizes remain.

Ticket sales from games like 20X The Cash made it possible for the lottery to raise more than half a billion dollars for the state last year.
