Joseph Bumgarner of Wilkesboro is the latest player to win $300,000 after playing the $300,000 Jackpot scratch-off game.

Bumgarner claimed his prize Tuesday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required state and federal tax withholdings, he took home $207,751.

Bumgarner bought the $5 ticket at the P&J Express on U.S. 421 in Wilkesboro.
The game launched in January with four top prizes of $300,000. One top prize remains.

Ticket sales from games like $300,000 Jackpot made it possible for the lottery to raise more than half a billion dollars for the state last year.
