Xiaoming Zheng of Raleigh is starting the week on a high note after winning $100,000 playing $4,000,000 Platinum Payout.

She bought the $20 ticket at the Harris Teeter on Kildaire Farm Road in Cary.

Zheng claimed her prize Monday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required state and federal tax withholdings, she took home $69,507.

The $4,000,000 Platinum Payout game began in 2016 with three top prizes of $4 million, five $1 million prizes, and 12 $100,000 prizes. One top prize, two $1 million prizes, and four $100,000 prizes remain to be claimed.

Ticket sales from instant games like $4,000,000 Platinum Payout make it possible for the lottery to raise more than $600 million a year for education.
