Donald Vanater of Angier is celebrating his good fortune after he won a $376,701 Cash 5 jackpot.
Vanater bought the $1 ticket at Benson Family Fare on N.C. 210 in Benson. It beat odds of one in 749,398 to win Friday’s drawing.
He claimed the jackpot Monday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required state and federal tax withholdings, he took home $265,579.
