Lakeisha Rorie of Greensboro just took home one of the big prizes in the $300,000,000 Supreme Riches game.

Rorie bought her lucky ticket at Charlie’s Tobacco Outlet on Eastchester Drive in High Point. She claimed her prize Friday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required state and federal tax withholdings, she received $70,759.

When the $30 game started in April, it had four top prizes of $10 million and 15 $100,000 prizes. Two $10 million prizes and eight $100,000 prizes remain to be claimed. Tickets can also be entered into second-chance drawings for a chance to win $1 million.

Ticket sales from scratch-off games make it possible for the lottery to raise more than $700 million a year for education. For details on how lottery funds have helped all of North Carolina’s 100 counties, click on the “Impact” section of the lottery’s website. https://www.nclottery.com.
