With a State of Emergency declared for New Hanover County ahead of Hurricane Dorian, the N.C. Education Lottery will close its Wilmington regional office and claims center Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 2 p.m.. The office will remain closed on Thursday.

At this time, all other lottery offices in the state, including the Raleigh headquarters and regional offices and claims centers in Asheville, Charlotte, Raleigh, Greenville, and Greensboro are operating on a normal schedule.

All lottery drawings will be held as scheduled.

During Hurricane Dorian, the lottery will provide updates on the status of its operations on its website, nclottery.com, on its social media channels, and through media releases.
