Neal Badolato of Cornelius found himself the latest winner of a $100,000 Extreme Cash prize.

He purchased his winning $25 ticket from the Harris Teeter on Sam Furr Road in Huntersville.

Badolato claimed his prize Monday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh and took home $70,757 after required federal and state tax withholdings.

Ticket sales from scratch-offs like Extreme Cash make it possible for the lottery to raise more than $900 million per year for education.
