Ahmad Ayesh of Raleigh tried his luck on a $25 scratch-off ticket and won a $100,000 prize.
Ayesh bought his lucky Spectacular Riches ticket from Raj Enterprises Inc. on U.S. 70 West in Garner. He arrived at lottery headquarters Tuesday to collect his prize and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $71,257.
The Spectacular Riches game debuted October 2021 with eight $1 million top prizes and 20 $100,000 prizes. Two $1 million prizes and five $100,000 prizes remain to be claimed.
