The Mega Millions jackpot keeps increasing as it crossed the $300 million mark for Tuesday’s drawing.
A winner tonight would have the choice of taking home the $311 million jackpot as an annuity or $147 million in cash.
In Friday’s drawing, one lucky $2 ticket from North Carolina matched four white balls and the yellow Mega Ball to win $10,000. The lucky ticket came from Granville Food Mart on N.C. 158 in Oxford. The odds of that win are 1 in 931,000.
Even though the jackpot remains up for grabs, players are taking home lots of other prizes as Friday’s drawing produced more than 17,700 winning tickets in North Carolina.
The odds of winning a Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 302 million.
