David Webb of Burnsville took a chance on a $5 scratch-off and won a $200,000 top prize.
Webb bought his lucky Triple Red 777’s ticket from Triangle Stop Food Store on Ozone Drive in Saluda.
He arrived at lottery headquarters Monday to claim his prize and, after required federal and state tax withholdings, took home $143,001.
The Triple Red 777’s game debuted in July with five $200,000 top prizes. Two $200,000 prizes remain to be claimed.
