A recent lucky streak playing the lottery culminated in a $200,000 top prize win for Wonis Davis of Henderson.

“I’ve had some awesome luck with scratch-offs,” he said. “I actually won $500 the day before too.”

Davis said he initially thought he just won $1,000, but he kept seeing zeros.

“I started scratching and I see zero, zero, zero, then a comma and more zeros,” he laughed.

Davis bought his lucky $5 Bankroll ticket from Bunn Pit Stop on Main Street in Bunn.

He arrived at lottery headquarters Wednesday to claim his prize and, after required federal and state tax withholdings, took home $130,198.

Davis said he plans to use his winnings for ‘business and growth.’

The Bankroll game debuted in March with five top prizes of $200,000. Three $200,000 prizes remain to be claimed.
