Rosamaria Munoz of Biscoe took a chance on a $5 scratch-off and won a $250,000 top prize.

Munoz purchased her lucky Power 5s ticket from Tobacco & Bev. Outlet on North Main Street in Candor.

She collected her prize at lottery headquarters Friday and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $178,751.

The Power 5s game debuted in October with six $250,000 top prizes. Two $250,000 prizes remain to be claimed.
