The Mega Millions jackpot continues to climb as it reached $464 million for Friday night’s drawing.

A winner in tonight’s drawing would have the choice of taking home the $464 million jackpot as an annuity or $228.2 million in cash.

“What a way to start the weekend that would be for a lucky North Carolinian to win a jackpot like that,” said Terri Rose, Chief Brand Officer of the N.C. Education Lottery. “Just remember it only takes one $2 ticket to win it all. Good luck.”
