Sasamoto bought her lucky Quick Pick for the Sept. 12 drawing from Murphy Express on Lillington Highway in Spring Lake. The odds of matching all five balls are 1 in 962,598.
She claimed her prize Thursday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required federal and state tax withholdings, she took home $435,983.
