Eric Walker of Concord tried his luck on a $50 scratch-off and won a $100,000 prize.
Walker bought his lucky $10 Million Spectacular ticket from the Local Market on N.C. 49 South in Concord.
He collected his prize on Monday and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $71,764.
The $10 Million Spectacular game debuted in December 2023 with five top prizes of $10 million, 20 prizes of $1 million and 20 prizes of $100,000. Two $10 million prizes, four $1 million prizes and four $100,000 prizes remain to be claimed.
