Vannesa Hidalgo of Monroe couldn’t believe her luck when a $30 scratch-off won her a $100,000 prize.

“I was like, ‘Is this real or am I dreaming,’” Hidalgo recalled. “I couldn’t believe it.”

She bought her lucky 200X The Cash ticket from Singh's Mart on East Franklin Street in Monroe.

“That was my first time playing that,” she said.

Hidalgo arrived at lottery headquarters Monday to collect her prize and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $71,758.

“I’m just really shocked,” she said.

She plans to use her winnings to help her family.

The 200X The Cash game debuted in March of 2024 with five $5 million top prizes and 10 $100,000 prizes. Three $5 million prizes and six $100,000 prizes remain to be claimed.
