Dennis McCullough of Charlotte took a chance on a $5 scratch-off and won a $200,000 top prize.
McCullough bought his lucky Double Your Money ticket from R & K Express Mart on Pence Road in Charlotte.
He arrived at lottery headquarters Thursday to claim his prize and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $144,021.
The Double Your Money game debuted in August with five top prizes of $200,000. Two $200,000 prizes remain to be claimed.
