Zer Yang of Winston-Salem tried his luck on a digital instant game on Sunday and won a $361,219 jackpot.

Yang played for $2 and won the top level “Gold” jackpot in Jungle Tumble, a digital instant game featuring a progressive jackpot that can be won at any time. The odds of that win were 1 in 20 million.

He claimed his prize Wednesday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required federal and state tax withholdings, he took home $260,115.

In Jungle Tumble, a player can play from 50 cents to $30. After Yang won the jackpot, it restarted at $80,000 and stands at over $83,000 as of Thursday afternoon.

Digital instant games are played exclusively online on the lottery’s website or on the NC Lottery Official Mobile App. Sixty-four different games are available to play online now.

Education programs in Forsyth County received $21.3 million in support from lottery funds last year. For details on how lottery funds have made a difference in all of North Carolina’s 100 counties, visit www.nclottery.com and click on the “Impact” section of the lottery’s website.
