Francisco Huapilla Escamilla of Immokalee, Fla., was in disbelief after a $5 scratch-off delivered a $150,000 win.

“I can’t believe it, I feel so blessed,” he said.

Huapilla Escamilla bought his lucky LOTERIA Fiesta ticket from King’s Grocery on Old Spartanburg Road in Hendersonville.

After winning the $150,000 top prize, he called his wife.

“She was so excited,” he said.

He arrived at lottery headquarters Thursday to claim his prize and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $108,016.

The LOTERIA Fiesta game debuted in July 2025 with six $150,000 top prizes. One $150,000 prize remains to be claimed.
