Prize claim deadline nears

We just wanted to give you a quick reminder that a deadline to make claims for 11 instant scratch-off games is Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011. Ticket sales for the games listed below ended on Aug. 31, 2011. Under NCEL policy, all instant game prizes must be claimed within ninety (90) days of the announced end-of-game date.

Claims under $600 can be made at a lottery retailer before midnight on Nov. 29. Claims of $600 up to $99,999 must be made at one of the six regional claim centers before 5 p.m. that day while claims of $100,000 and above must be made at NCEL headquarters before 5 p.m. on that day as well. Claims that are mailed to the NCEL must be received within 90 days of the official end of game date and postmarks will not satisfy the 90-day requirement.

@1ROCK2KING - There is no set amount of prizes on any roll of tickets, the winning tickets are spread out randomly throughout the entire printing run of the game. The odds of winning are set at the beginning of the game and then vary up and down for the rest of the game until the game ends.

who decides how much money is placed on a whole roll of scratch off,the total dollar amount in that one roll of tickets.

I was wandering,how does the place that prints the scratch off tickets determine what prize amounts to place on the roll of tickets.I know the 5.00 dollars tickets are 300.00 for a whole roll and the 20.00 dollars tickets are 600.00 dollars a roll.I think the 10.00 dollar rolls are 300.00 also.The reason I'm asking is I did purchase a whole roll,the 500,000 anniversary roll when it first came out. The whole amount I won off the roll was about 176.00 dollars,lost 124.00.I know every roll has some winner on them,but just wandering how much could be on a roll of tickets..say,one roll has the top prize on it,is that the only prize on the roll,or are there smaller prizes on the same roll too.tks

@ MACMILLION - The Pick 3 drawing uses a separate machine and a separate set of balls which are chosen at random under the supervision of an auditor. Then, immediately following the Pick 3 drawing, the Pick 4 drawing is held using a separate machine and separate set of balls chosen at random, also under the supervision of an auditor.

why do you have a 5xmoney bag on the 150thousand 5 dollar ticket and then have 1dollar after you scratch. such a let down!

wow...the 2nd time this year for big cash 5 win in cherryville. If it is big bucks for gaston county..its eithercherryville or mount holly. 1111 sold out this morning...maybe because of the 2111 hit last evening...can't believe so many people took the bite...glad i didn't!
