We’ve teamed up with Charlotte Motor Speedway and WRFX radio in Charlotte to give fans the chance to win amazing prizes: you could win race tickets, meet Ric Flair, and compete for the opportunity to serve as Grand Marshal or Honorary Starter for the NCEL 200 Camping World Truck Series Race.
Every day through May 13th, WRFX will make on-air announcements inviting listeners to call in to qualify as the Grand Marshal or Honorary Starter for the NCEL 200. Everyone who qualifies will win a pair of tickets to the NCEL 200, Sprint Cup Series All-Star race, Nationwide Series and - yes - the Coca Cola 600! For a chance to win, tune into 99.7 FM in Charlotte, or players outside of Charlotte can listen online.
Lots of lucky winners will get tickets and qualify on the air. But you still have more chances to win: by coming to the live radio remote at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on Friday, May 20. Things kick-off at 2 p.m., so make sure to be there. Whether you win on the air or in person, you have to come to the live remote that Friday to get your tickets and compete. What’s this competition? “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair will help choose two Super Fans of the Day (be ready to show your enthusiasm).
One Super Fan will be named the Honorary Starter for the NCEL 200 and wave the green flag to get the action underway. As Grand Marshal, the other Super Fan will announce the most famous words in racing, “Drivers, start your engines!” Watch last year's competition and see who won the opportunity of a lifetime last year. After the contest, Ric Flair will be at our booth to sign autographs from 4 to 5 p.m..
And the ways to win don’t stop there. If you don't already, follow us on Twitter. In the week leading up to the race, we'll be tweeting @ our followers with info about how you can win a pair of tickets to the races and a chance to be chosen by Ric Flair as Super Fan of the Day. Good luck!

How can you say you do not spend taxpayers dollars--The people of North Carolina purchase the tickets with their money and it supposed to go to our childrens education and yet today I read where our elected officials have taken 35 million from that education fund to blow somewhere else last year and the current bunch is looking to get some more. Really should change the name of this lottery to the Political Folks Slush Fund.
I personnaly do not understand why the North Carolina EDUCATION Lottery is sponsoring a nascar race with the taxpayers dollars. The money is supposed to go our school systems which are already facing massive cuts due to the nitwits we have in Raleigh and now you want to give our money to redneck racing and nobody really cares about Nature Boy either, now there's a real role model.
