Cash 5, Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots rolling again

Draw game enthusiasts are always tracking the jackpots, and so are we. So far this year, 57 players have won Carolina Cash 5 jackpots for over $10.9 million in prize money. Who will be next? Tonight’s Cash 5 jackpot is $84,000.

Tuesday night is a Mega Millions night, and the jackpot is has climbed to $24 million. North Carolina players have won ten prizes of $250,000 and two $1 million prizes on Mega Millions tickets since the beginning of the year.

And after a big run, the Powerball jackpot is at $25 million. In 2011, North Carolina players have won 100 prizes of $10,000 and above including nine $1 million winners. We would love to meet our fourth Powerball jackpot winner after Wednesday’s drawing.

You could fly the numbers on a banner behind an airplane and it wouldn't affect the randomness of the bouncing balls! :-)

JCC if those numbers fall after you just posted them, then I'm gonna have a lot of questions. I can see if a pick 4 comes out after posting it, but the lottery jackpots? LOL

@Macmillion - The tickets go out when they're ordered by retailers, so each retailer has just as good a chance of getting a pack with a big winner inside. For example, you mentioned the Red Hot Millions game. The first winning ticket came from Franklin, a small town in the western part of the state, but the second winning ticket was sold in Fayetteville, the sixth largest municipality in North Carolina.

i always drive to buy my scratch offs at high unemployment, good ole boy type towns. The lottery people know exactly where those scratch offs are going. Take for instance red hot millions..the next million ticket is still sitting in some warehouse, they will wait until red hot millions is not selling, then release another million dollar one. It will be in one of those small towns.

my co-workers and myself are playing powerball tonight also - we have good numbers - I hope the lottery will pick one of our "good" ones ! if the lottery "machine" is listening, how 'bout letting the following balls free to slide down the ramp? 16-19-44-54-58 and pb 21?

@ WAYNE - We have met North Carolinians of all different backgrounds and lifestyles who have won prizes big and small. Our first jackpot winner was Jackie Alston of Halifax, NC - she doesn't fit the profile you describe. Our most recent Cash 5 jackpot winners from Columbus County live on a farm. Everyone who plays has the same chance to win, the tickets don't show any favor towards anyone :-)

Here we go again, Why does the Va. lottery continue to post the numbers before the nc failure? You people make me sick! I don`t care what you say, the big winners are in western nc. on scratchers. I will never win on a scratcher, because I will never buy another one!

none i havent won no more than 500 dollars and that was from a twenty dollar scratch off. i think only rich white people win the big lotteries. like mega million and powerball
