$500,000 Anniversary Cash final drawing announced!

Many players have enjoyed big wins on the $500,000 Anniversary Cash game, but the question on everyone’s mind seems to be “When is the final second-chance drawing?”

Well wonder no more, Lucke-Zoners! The last second-chance drawing will occur on Tuesday, Oct. 18. All entries should be entered by Friday, Oct. 14. Remember, if you had any non-winning entries in any of the prior drawings, those entries are automatically applied to the final drawing.

As a reminder, the final second-chance drawing gives you a shot to win a $25,000 prize or one of five $5,000 prizes, 15 $500 prizes and 50 $50 prizes.

More than $21.7 million has already been claimed in the game, and there’s $5 million in prizes still available to be won including one more $500,000 instant prize.

@ JESUTTON - Our lottery games work similarly to how they work in other states. The NCEL's practices have been audited many times, each time receiving clean reviews. If you enjoy playing lottery games then we are glad, but if you don't enjoy playing then we respect your decision not to play.

I like 2 no how many big winning tickets r on a roll.I buy tickets everyday.I beleive the lottery knows were thr winning tickets r goin.That not fair 2 all the people spending loads of $ everyday and don't win.U should make our chances better.

@ PAMELA - Well, first things first, we don't "put" winning tickets anywhere, that wouldn't be fair to everyone else! :-) That said, we've had a ton of Forsyth County winners. Instant winners from Walkertown have won prizes of $9,999 and $5,000. Walkertown has had some big luck with Powerball, too; wins of $10,000 (2006), $200,000 (2008), and $30,000 (2009) have gone to Walkertown players :-) In all, from 3/30/06-6/30/11, Forsyth players won more than $114.8 million in prizes; education program received more than $63.7 million in lottery funds.

the lone 200,000 ticket is still in some warehouse and probably will not be put out until sometime next year. not enough people buying the ticket.

@ CHUCK - You don't have to live in NC. Any non-winning tickets purchased in NC are eligible to enter for second chance drawings through our website, whether you live in North Carolina, Virgina or somewhere else. We have had quite a few prize pack winners from out of state.

Do you have to live in NC for a chance at the drawing? I live in VA and I don't believe anyone but NC residents won prizes on the last drawing.

@ DONNA - We always say, lottery games are games of chance, and while there's a fair chance to win, there's no guarantee of it. It is very important to play games with extra money you have set aside for entertainment, not as a way to try to solve a financial challenge you're up against.

@ OLDLADY - We always tell all lottery players that its very important to only buy tickets with money set aside for entertainment. You the person is a lot more important to us than you the player! Lottery games are games of chance, so there's no guarantee of winning.
