Wheel of Fortune entry deadline nears

The new Wheel of Fortune game has been very popular with players since it launched on Aug. 16. Just last week, the first $100,000 top prize was awarded to McDowell County resident Melissa Hink. Of course, the fun doesn’t end when you scratch your ticket. There are also three second-chance drawings that will send three lucky winners to Los Angeles to spin that iconic wheel for a chance to win up to $1 million.

A quick reminder: Entries for the first drawing are due on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 11:59 p.m. The first drawing will occur the following week on Wednesday, Sept. 21.

@ PLAYER (D) - There is not a set time of day for Lucke-Rewards drawings and the time of day for game-specific second-chance drawings vary. The timing of the drawing depends on making sure there is sufficient time for draw staff, security, and audtiors to follow the specific security process.

What time of the day do they draw for second chance drawings? I am entered in several drawings but never know if they draw during the day or evening once the deadline has come. Just curious?

@ JERMMARC - Usually within 48 hours of a Lucke-Rewards drawing, the lottery attempts to notify the winners by e-mail.

How long till the winner is contacted after drawings on lucke zone. Also im in a small town and we have 1000 to 100000 all the time no million doller winners yet. The stores I play at sell out and reorder alot so that helps oncreasing the odds.

Ok,I hope I am as lucky on some of the draws as I was on the Harley and Mustang second chances, I won the prize pack on each of those,those were super, cash would be fantastic. Keep the second chances coming, good thing.

@ DAVIDKEITH - Good question. For $500 winners in a Lucke Rewards drawing, a notification email will be sent, and the winner must respond to confirm his or her address. Once that is done, a check will be mailed out. :-)

How will the 500 5times be paid? Will the winner be notified or will you just send a check to the winner, since 500 can be paid by any retailer.

@ MAYBABY - Please check out our most recent blog entry which explains why sometimes you don't see winners names announced right away. There's a notification and claim process which has to be completed first.

When will you post the winners of the last two Wednesday winners! The lucky rewards winners for two Wednesdays 12/27/12 is not posted and as of this evening 1/2/2013 is not posted. If thses are Wednesday winners, why are they not posted.

@ AFRT04 - This was the first reorder for the Jumbo Bucks game. Approximately 15% of the game had not been activated by retailers for sale when the reorder ocurred. The NCEL reordered the same quantity, but in order to balance the reorder with what is still outstanding, up to 3% more than the order quantity is delivered on reorders. Like any industry, there are a lot of complexities to making everything work as it should with lottery games. We take great care to uphold our responsibility to players and the state. Can I ask again...1. were 7,650,000 tickets printed for the game in the re-issue? That's how many tickets were originally printed. 2. Also, how many re-issues have there been, and 3. is there ANY idea of how many tickets were left prior to the re-issue? Thank you

@AFRT04 - Sometimes the timing works out to where tickets are reordered and there is a short delay for the web to update. But because of your blog comment, we checked Monday morning to make sure everything was accurate :-)

Originally there were 7,650,000 tickets printed for this game. Is that how many tickets were re-printed? I also noticed that there was a notation made, since my comment, about how the tickets were re-ordered. Thank you for that.

@ AFRT04 - The odds for all instant games change as soon as tickets start being sold, which you will notice is printed on every ticket as well as on every page for every game on our website. In the case of the 'Bucks' games, you have a better chance of winning a top prize of $750,000 now than you did when the game started, and the other prizes are re-loaded as well. re: The question about jumbo bucks above. If new runs of tickets are printed when the supply runs low, HOW CAN YOU SAY WITH CERTAINTY what the ODDS are of winning a specific prize????? There is absolutely NO WAY to estimate the prize odds unless you keep changing those odds on your web site - which you don't. This makes suspect ALL the odds of the instant games that you publish. PLEASE EXPLAIN!!

@ AFRT04 - Jumbo Bucks is part of the "Bucks Family" of games, which don't begin and end like some instant games. Year round you should be able to find "Bucks" tickets in stores, because new runs of tickets are printed when the supply gets low so that retailers who stock the game can carry it all the time. I too, would LOVE to see another raffle. I hope that sometime soon the lottery will have another one. Also, is there ANY way that you can list the remaining prizes for the largest 3 or 4 prizes on the scratch games instead of just the highest prize remaining? thanks

My question is this: I always check the remaining prizes on instant games. On one game, JUMBO BUCKS (game #198), there were ORIGINALLY 8 prizes of $750,000. That was when the game opened in September 2010. Now, one year later, there are 9 prizes of $750,000 LEFT!!! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?? Will someone please explain this? Thank you!!!

It won't take my numbers for the 2nd chance drawing. I have rechecked them and entered them multiple times, even had to wait an hour and try again. I e-mailed about four e-mails and am waiting for a reply, said it would take a couple of days. It's on the Wheel of Fortune game and this is really getting on my nerves that it won't take my entry number and ticket number, says it's not a valid number and that is what's on my ticket.

i do not know why i continue to waste my money on these scratch off tickets the one's that just came out is not worth the time and effort that was put in them to print them. please come out with some better scratch off than what have been coming out.when are you going to do another raffle?
