603,020 logged in tickets, that was a lot of non-winning tickets printed out and that is probably only 25% from those non-winning that are in trash and never logged in. This comes out to be $6 million dollars spent, and that's only on one $10 dollar ticket. Wonder where this money is really going to. Sure would be nice to contribute some money and lower the daycare cost....

I am 18, and have a baby on the way... I don't know how old most of you are but you need to realize that the lottery is not a way to feed your family, it isn't a solution to put your child through college, it is a money racket, and those of you blowing your money on scratch offs not for fun but thinking that you are going to be able to win and help your family, you need to be there for your family right now, not on March 28th. You can put 10 dollars in your vehicle, you could put 5 in your vehicle, and 5 for Roman Noodle to feed your kids, I'm 18 and got my life straightened out, Many people, not everyone, and take that to heart, "Not everyone on this post" need to grow up and stop believing that they are going to be lucke 1 in 603,020 because you are living a lie. I hope that whoever wins though, don't get me wrong, I hope they go from living poorly to living like kings. I wish I could take my entry out, just to give that person a better chance at winning. This is fun! Thanks for giving us all a second chance with Carolina Gold! The one thing I would ask NC to consider is to have a yearly state raffle like I see other states doing every year. A secure database document is generated with all the valid entry numbers, which are isolated from the rest of the players' information and loaded onto the random number generator console. That way the machine is directed to blindly, randomly select numbers - in this case there will be just one grand prize winner - and that information is then remerged with the original database file to determine the identity of the winner. It's a boring process to watch but will produce an exciting result! :-)
